Sir Alex Ferguson given Christmas surprise by Man Utd's Class of 92

Sir Alex Ferguson was given a Christmas surprise by his famous Class of 92.
The legendary Man United boss attended the newly opened restaurant The Ivy in Spinningfields, Manchester.
But what he hadn't expected was that Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt had arrived moments before to surprise him.
The 76-year-old has recovered well since suffering a brain haemorrhage in May, which attracted widespread messages of support from fans and prominent figures in the game.
Sir Alex recently paid tribute to the staff at the three hospitals that cared for him after his operation.
"Hello, just a quick message first of all to thank the medical staff at Macclesfield, Salford Royal, and Alexandra Hospitals," Ferguson said.
"Believe me, without those people, who gave me such great care, I would not be sitting here today. So thank you from me and my family. Thank you very much.
"It’s made me feel so humble, as all the messages I've had from all over the world wishing me the best and the good wishes do resonate very, very strongly with me. So thank you for that support you've given me.
"And lastly, I’ll be back later in the season to watch the team. And in the meantime, all the best to Jose and the players. Thank you very much."
