Manchester United players pay tribute to Ryan Giggs

A host of Manchester United players have paid tribute to Ryan Giggs on social media following the announcement that he has left the club to pursue a career in management.
 
In a lengthy and at times emotional statement that was released on Saturday afternoon, Giggs explained the reasons behind his departure from Old Trafford and began to look forward to his future. 
 
“It’s time for a new chapter and a new challenge," the Welshman wrote. “I’m excited about the future - I’ve had the best apprenticeship into management anyone could ever ask for.”
 
The news quickly became a trending topic with many supporters using the hashtag #GiggsLegend to wish the former winger good luck. Here’s what the players posted on their own accounts…
