Ryan Giggs is keeping quiet over turning 40
The Welsh winger will reach the milestone in November, becoming only the fourth outfield player over 40 to feature in the Premier League.
Writing in his programme notes before United's game against West Brom, he said: "Apparently 40 is the new 30, so I am looking forward to it.
"I know it’s quite daunting for some people, but you just have to embrace it, not worry too much about it and just enjoy yourself.
"That said, I might try and keep my birthday a secret from all the lads when it comes round.
"That might prove tough though."
United will turn their attentions back to the Champions League on Wednesday when they take on Shakhtar Donetsk.
