Ryan Giggs & George's shakes things up with a brand new recovery cocktails

SNAP OUT OF IT! - JUST IN TIME FOR THE HANGOVER SEASON

The heavy going festive season is right around the corner, but worry not Mixologist, John Adeyemi, George's Dining Room & Bar’s very own King of Cocktails, has created the ultimate recovery drink, that he has tried and tested on legendary owner, Ryan Giggs.
 
‘Snap Out of It’ is a twist on the traditional Bloody Mary containing gin instead of vodka. Gin is Ryan Giggs’ favourite spirit and one that has enjoyed resurgence of late, from hipsters through to ladies that lunch, and now it seems sportsmen all enjoying a tipple.
 
John Adeyemi, head mixologist at George’s said: “We have a lot of gin drinkers at George’s so I wanted to create a seasonal cocktail this Christmas just for them. The ingredients used in Snap Out of It! will give customers the health-kick to recovery they may need this party season, and they may even feel as fit as Ryan himself after my drink.” 
Snap Out of It! Bombay Sapphire Gin, Fresh chilies, Basil leaves, Cucumber, Celery salt, Dash balsamic vinegar, Tomato juice. 
Kelvin Gregory, one of George’s owners said: "We like to take classic dishes and drinks and add our own George's touch to them. This is what John has done to the age-old hangover cure, the Bloody Mary, by giving it a gin twist instead of using vodka and taking fresh ingredients straight out of our kitchen. 
 
“Customers are going mad for the new cocktail already, I think Christmas may have started early for us here in North Manchester!.”
 
 
Ryan Giggs has owned George's Worsley, alongside friends Kelvin Gregory and Bernie Taylor, since December 2013.
