Pep Guardiola celebrates with Ryan Giggs after holing incredible chip shot
Pep Guardiola put footballing rivalries aside on Saturday morning after nailing a holing a terrific chip shot from the rough during a charity golf event.
The Manchester City manager is one of a number of notable names taking part in a Ryder Cup-style Icons of Football golf tournament at The Belfry.
Guardiola was paired with former Manchester United captain Ryan Giggs in a Rest of the World team that is being captained by this year's Ryder Cup captain, Darren Clarke.
After a disappointing first season in the Premier League with Manchester City, Guardiola proved he is a dab-hand around the golf course with an impressive chip from the rough.
A delighted Guardiola celebrates the shot with a little jig before turning to hug his partner, Ryan Giggs.
Guardiola recently professed his love for golf in an interview with Manchester City's officia website.
"I love golf for many reasons. For the environment, the courses you play on. There are no referees there. The rules are for everybody. So when our games are being influenced by the decision of the referee, it is too much. In good ways and bad ways," he said.
The 46-year-old has recently predicted he will be "a god" next season, with Man City looking to add a number of new signings to their squad.
"We will be better next season. I know always when you win you are a god and it’s good,” said the former Barcelona manager.
“I was so happy in Manchester, being manager there and that’s why I will be so delighted to return on July 10 and start again. I still enjoyed it a lot last season," he added.
