Adam Lallana "fast becoming England's main man", says Ryan Giggs
The Reds midfielder has scored three goals in his last five Three Lions games
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs says Liverpool's Adam Lallana is "fast becoming England's main man".
The Welshman made the statement on ITV following the Three Lions' 2-0 victory over Lithuania.
Lallana has been in scintillating form this season and has also been impressing on the international stage. The 28-year-old has scored three goals in his last five England appearances.
Lallana capped yet another impressive display on Sunday by setting up Jamie Vardy's goal with a clever pass. And his eye-catching performances haven't gone unnoticed.
"He's fast establishing himself as the main man for England," said Giggs. "He's always on the move, he's always available and he's tricky on the ball. It's hard to get the ball off him, he can move either way.
"And he's now adding goals as well. He's been really impressive.
"This system suits him and he's hard to get hold of if you're a defender."
